Step 2: Click on the CLIENT NAME and click "QUICK INVOICE".

Step 3: Add the item you want to charge the client for.

Step 4: Once everything has been added to the invoice being created, click ADD TO INVOICE.

Step 5: Click the TAKE PAYMENT button at the bottom of the screen

Step 6: Click CREATE INVOICE

Step 7: All of the information from the Shepherd screen will pull over to the invoice that was created.

The DONATION PROMPT can be turned on or off depending on if you would like the ROUND UP OPTION to be on the invoice or not.

Step 8: Click SUBMIT.

Step 9: You can now select DONE, VIEW INVOICE or SEND INVOICE.

Step 10: You have the option of sending the invoice via email or text message using the drop-down menu.

Step 11: Click SEND and CLOSE.

Step 12: You can then VIEW INVOICE

There are two main attributes associated to how each processed payment appears in the PIMS processing report that the Clinic needs to configure in order to perform payment write backs:

1. The User associated with all payments processed through VetPayTogo, i.e. As a Clinic User, do you want payments processed through VetPayTogo to be assigned to an existing employee in your PIMS or do you want to create a new Employee for write back purposes?

2. The Payment Type associated with all payments processed through VetPayTogo, i.e. As a Clinic User, do you want to choose a Payment Type that already exists in your PIMS for payments processed through VetPayTogo, or do you prefer to have a new Payment Type that indicates this payment source for write back purposes?

This documentation covers how to set up new Employee or Payment Type attributes that don't already exist in the Clinic's PIMS and are being created for the purposes of payment write backs from VetPayTogo to AVImark. 

Step 1: Log into your account

Step 2: Click on the "person icon" in the upper right hand corner then click "administration".

Step 3: You will scroll down on the left hand column until you see "Inventory" and click on "Services".

Step 4: Click on "Add Service"

Step 5: Enter the information as it appears in the image below

Step 6: Click SAVE

Step 7: You have now successfully added the myBalto Foundation Donation to your PIMS! Head back over to the myBalto Foundation Dashboard --> Settings --> Veterinary Mgmt System --> Click the blue button "Verify" to confirm your line item.

Please note that it may take until the next day for our system to be able to verify the product has been added.

If for some reason you have added your product, and you are still not seeing donations coming through, then:

1. Verify the product name in your system matches "myBalto Foundation Donation" exactly, no extra spaces at the end.

2. Verify you've added the product in the myBalto platform in your settings.

How to add myBalto Foundation Donation to Invoice:

Step 1: Proceed to Billing, scroll to "Add Services and Products", select "Services" and type in myBalto Foundation Donation

Step 2: Change the "Unit Price" to the donation amount that the customer would like to give and check out per usual.
